If I were Tally I would have the warden turn me pretty because she thinks she can fix things by doing that.

Tally has finally come clean. Do you think she will regret it? Do you think David will change his mind about her?

I don't think she will regret it and I don't think David will change his mind about her because he didn't really even believe her at first when she told him that she was the cause of all of these problems.

I don't think so because she would't have wanted to and it hasn't been tested.

If I were Shay I don't think I would take the cure because when she gets cured she will just go back to hating Tally and no one has tested the cure medicine, so it might not even work.

Respond to the following quote from the chapter...what does it mean to you? "Talle thought of the lesions on Shay's brain, the tiny cancers or wounds or whatever they are that she didn't even know she had. They were in there somewhere changing her friend's thoughts, warping her feelings, gnawing at the roots of who she was."

I think it means that since the lesions operation were changing the way she thought and who she was.

Is this quote a play on words, or does it have a deeper meaning to the story? "Radiology. Neurology. Magnetic Imaging," she read softly. "Operating Theatre Two."

I think it has a deeper meaning to the story because it sounds like thats what you go through in the operating rooms.

What labels do Tally and David find in the Special Circumstances building? Give a brief description of what you think each means.

Radiology: The rooms where the radio waves for the operation are stored.

Neurology: The room where they study the science of the nerves and how to fix the face.

Magnetic Imaging: The room where they take a picture of the current face and add the changes to it from the neurology to see what the yperson will look like.

Operating Theatre Two: The room where the surgery occurs.

"Shay was tall and elegant. Her eyes were copper, gold, deep, and soulful. And had every perfect feature. Shay was pretty."
